私は、この作品で、「光」を地中より照射される七本の光の柱として表現しました。
竹を見るとその潔さに、胸がすっとします。
さらに竹林の中に入って観ると藪蚊もいれば蛇も出ますが、間近で見る竹の力強さに感動します。
ぐいっぐいっと彼方此方から生えてきています。
伸び上がる先の空の光を求めてどこまでも伸び続けていくようです。
また竹林の中から見える街の風景も愛すべき美しいものです。
